For you, Mom

There are things
I should have told you
years ago.

Like how I noticed.

All of it.

The way you'd come into my room at night —

just to make sure I was breathing.

The lunches you packed
before sunrise.

The dreams you set down quietly —

so I could chase mine.

The tears in the kitchen
you thought I never saw.

You gave me a soft world
to bloom in.

And you held my hand.

Even when I let go
for years at a time.

Mom —

I see you.

I have always seen you.

10 May 2026

Thank you.

For all of it.

Happy Mother's Day

I love you.

Today,
and always.
